CDHP AND PUBLIC HEALTH APPROVAL HAS BEEN GRANTED TO MCA TO OPEN SCHOOL FOR GRADES K-6TH ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2020 AND FOR GRADES 7-12TH ON OCTOBER 8, 2020

COVID-19 – CORONAVIRUS INFORMATION

North Bay Christian Academy is notified regularly by the Marin County Office of Education, our county health department, and CDC to ensure that we remain informed and have the resources needed to help maintain healthy learning environments. NBCA is taking proactive steps to prevent the spread of any illness, including increased cleaning protocols and reinforcing proper hygiene practices.

FOR PARENTS

North Bay Christian Academy is working closely with the Marin County Office of Education (MCOE) and the Novato Unified School District (NUSD) to discuss new ways our school can and will open in the Fall.

Please remember these helpful hints to protect ourselves from any viruses:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water for no less than 20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

• Refrain from shaking hands when greeting others.

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

• Cover your nose and mouth when sneezing. Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or elbow, not into your hands. You may also use a tissue when you sneeze, cough, or blow your nose. Quickly throw away used tissues then wash your hands.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Most germs spread when a sick person coughs, sneezes, or talks.

• Do not share food, utensils, beverages, towels, lip balm/lipstick, phones, or anything else that might become contaminated with germs.

• If you are suffering from a respiratory illness and running a fever >100 degrees, please remain home until you are well.
